I was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada where I grew up and attended high school. I completed my Honours Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Toronto in 1999 and moved to Alberta where I married and started a family. I have lived and worked in the United States and in Saskatchewan. In the summer of 2011, I am returning to Ontario with my husband and three children, and will make my home in the City of Vaughan. I work hard at finding a balance between my commitment to my family and my passion for helping women throughout the childbearing year.

Professionally, I completed my certification as a Labour Doula with DONA (Doulas of North America) International in early 2009. In May of that year, I became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) through Healthy Children’s Center for Breastfeeding. I hope to enter midwifery college in 2012. |
