Amanda O’Gorman |

Amanda O’Gorman was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada where she grew up and attended high school. She completed her Honours Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Toronto in 1999 and moved to Alberta where she married and started a family. For the past three years, she has been living and working in the United States. This summer, she returned to Canada with her husband and three young children, and now makes her home in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Amanda works hard at finding a balance between her commitment to her family and her passion for helping women throughout the childbearing year.

Professionally, Amanda completed her certification as a Labour Doula with DONA (Doulas of North America) in early 2009. In May of that year, she became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) through Healthy Children’s Center for Breastfeeding. She hopes to enter midwifery college in Ontario in 2012. |
