In the spirit of CAPPA’s Operation Special Delivery, I offer my services through local Military Family Resource Centres to provide free doula support to women whose husbands or partners have been injured, killed, or deployed in military service. Hospitals, churches, libraries, and mom’s groups are wonderful places in which to spread the word. The Giving Birth offers free informational seminars on both The Benefits of Breastfeeding and The Value of Labour Doulas. Ask how we can tailor our presentations to suit your organization. |

Families today are often separated by many miles. If someone you know is expecting a baby and you can’t be there to support them as you would like, then a gift of services from The Giving Birth might be just what you need. Ask Amanda about how to give a gift of service. |

Doulas and obstetric staff have a great deal to learn from one another. Such an exchange of ideas can only be in the best interests of expectant mothers. For this reason, The Giving Birth always offers volunteer doula services to local hospitals. |
