There is a difference between supporting breastfeeding and offering breastfeeding support. Sadly, this support is often not available in the office of your pediatrician or obstetrician. Please do not give up on breastfeeding because ’the experts’ you’ve spoken with haven’t been able to help you. It is a very, very, very rare instance when a woman actually can not breastfeed in comfort, if she has the right support.
